The next Georgia Nature Photographers Association Roswell Chapter Meeting is on Thursday, May 2, 2024 7:00 P.M. at the Chattahoochee Nature Center 9135 Willeo Rd Roswell, GA 30075
Our featured speaker is Bill White: Copyright and Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, please bring your favorite solar eclipse and/or GNPA Expo images to share during the meeting.
Attention all photographers! Do you know how copyright law works? Do you know how long it lasts? What happens if you remove your EXIF data from the photograph? Are logos important? What happens when you use artificial intelligence programs on your images? We will cover these topics and more. This is information that all photographers must be aware of to protect themselves and their photographs.
Additionally, we have had a very eventful month of April with the solar eclipse and the annual GNPA Expo in Jekyll Island. For those who had an opportunity to photograph the eclipse and/or attend the GNPA Expo, please bring a selection of your favorite images on a thumb drive to share during the meeting.
Bill White
Bill is a practicing attorney who owns his own firm and is an avid amateur nature photographer. He has practiced law for over forty years, focusing on various areas, including copyright. His photographic experience includes weddings, events, high school sports, concerts, proms, youth soccer, and school portraits. Bill is a GNPA Past President and enjoys all types of nature photography, including mammals, insects, birds, and landscapes.
