Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge Field Trip

This month’s field trip to Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge will begin by meeting at the parking lot at sunrise 6:45 am. From the parking lot, we will hike one mile to the bird colony in the first pond (2 mile round trip). We will hike back to the parking lot at 10:30am and be back around 11:00am. There are no restroom facilities at the refuge, so it’ suggested you stop before you get to the refuge.

Gear Suggested-A long lens and a tripod.
Dress accordingly to weather, wear sturdy shoes, bring sunscreen, hat, water, snacks and insect repellent,etc
