DESCRIPTION:
During the last few months, all of our lives have been altered due to the COVID-19. The normal has changed to the abnormal. As we have been limited in our travels, most of us have been ready to get out and enjoy nature. This webinar will point out some destinations to photograph nature and some other iconic Georgia destinations.
GNPA Member Phillip Prichard will present Attractions for Photographers – Georgia Edition on November 18th. Phillip has complied a listing of attractions in the southeast that he will happily share. Tonight’s presentation will be limited to only Georgia attractions due to time constraints. Over 300 locations in Georgia are included in the listing.
The presentation will show an overview of Georgia’s photographic possibilities. Georgia has:
159 Counties – At least 159 Possibilities
48 State Parks – Mountains to Seashore and Many In Between
112 State Wildlife Management Areas
9 National Wildlife Refuges
11 National Parks
Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area
44 Nature Centers
15 Covered Bridges
Plus many more
Phillip is a GNPA Life Member. He is also a member of NANPA, CNPA, Audubon Society – Master Birder, Ducks Unlimited and National Wildlife Federation. He is a retired firefighter with 30 years of service, a safety consultant & trainer, and a contributing writer & photographer for Motorsports America. He tries to photograph something everyday with his grandkids and birds being his favorite subjects.
