Georgia Nature Photographers Association (GNPA) and the Chattahoochee Nature Center (CNC) are happy to announce the next photography gallery at the Nature Center.  Coinciding with the reopening of the CNC boardwalk on the Chattahoochee River, the theme of the gallery is “Georgia on My Mind”.

This contest/exhibit is open to all members of GNPA. If you are not a GNPA member, join today (http://www.gnpa.org).  The entry fee for this contest/exhibit is $5 per image. Entry for the contest will be through the GNPA website. Sign-in to the Member Home page and look for the announcement and link below your member badge.  You do not need to reduce the size of the photo you upload.  There is no limit to the number of entries person but a limit of two photos per person may be selected.

There are 3 categories for entry:  macro, landscape, and wildlife. Photos can be color or black and white.  Images of wildlife and macro images must have been taken in Georgia or contiguous states and be a species native to GA.  Landscapes must have been taken in Georgia. There is no restriction on when the photo was taken.

Schedule:

  • Submissions:           February 12 – February 22 (11:59 p.m.)
  • February 24:          Photographers with selected photos will be notified.
  • March 9, 10 a.m.:         Framed and matted prints must be delivered to CNC.   Framing requirements are the same as prior CNC exhibits.  See full framing specifics on the Competitions page of the GNPA website.
