Join GNPA Coastal Chapter Leaders Robbie Medler, Lynne Daley, Duion Furgason and Jamie Anderson on a photography tour of the Savannah area and the Low Country.

Included in the cost of the trip will be two sunrise shoots, a tour of the Wormsloe Historic Site, Bonaventure Cemetery, and Fort Pulaski. We will also visit Skidaway Island State Park, Oatland Island Wildlife Center, Savannah Wildlife Refuge, and take in a Sunset Dolphin Tour. On Saturday, we will take a ferry to Daufuski Island and be given a golf-cart tour of the of the island. Along with all of these photography sites, there will be stops at restaurants in between for some great low country seafood and BBQ.


Participants will arrive at their leisure on Wednesday (April 29th, 2020) and check into the Hilton Garden Inn.  The fee does not include Hotel, Food or Travel expenses to locations.


On Thursday, April 30th, we’ll meet for a sunrise shoot at the beautiful Isle of Hope Bluff Drive at the marina at 6:00am, Breakfast afterwards. At 9:00am we’ll visit the Wormsloe Historic Site with it’s beautiful avenue of oaks then go to lunch. Afterwards we’ll tour Skidaway Island State Park (1pm) for a nature hike, then the Historic Bonaventure Cemetery (3pm) before dinner at Tubby’s Tank House for a seafood dinner.

On Friday, May 1st, we’ll meet at 4:00AM on Tybee Island for some Milkway Photography (optional) or 6:00AM on Tybee for sunrise. Around 7:00am we’ll eat breakfast the Sunrise Cafe, then travel to Oatland Island Wildlife Center (8:30am) to photograph the nesting activity of herons, egrets, and wood storks. After lunch, we’ll travel to Fort Pulaski (1:30pm), eat dinner at the Crab Shack, then take in a Sunset Dolphin Tour (6:45pm).

On Saturday, May 2nd, we’ll meet at 7:30am at the Bull River Marina to take a ferry to Daufuski Island. Once on the island, we’ll be given a tour of the island while travelling in golf carts. We’ll eat lunch at the Lucy Bell’s on Daufuski and have some free time after lunch to travel around in our golf carts before departing back to the mainland at 4:00pm. Once back on the mainland, we’ll eat dinner at the Flying Fish Café (5pm).

On Sunday, May 3rd, check out from the hotel and meet at the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge at 8:00am for an auto tour around the Laurel Hill Wildlife Drive before departing for home.

Group size will be limited to ten (10) participants with a minimum of 5 required to hold the event.


You may cancel anytime before end of day on March 29, 2020  for a CANCELLATION FEE OF $50.  Thereafter, there are no refunds.  We encourage you to obtain trip insurance in case something unexpected comes up.  If the trip is cancelled by the GNPA for any reason, you will receive a 100% refund of moneys paid.
